Bruises in Time.I refuse to let him get to me even after all this time I’ve wasted. “Cause just sitting here beating myself up is only adding to the problem. And as far as I can see I’ve already gotten enough bruises.Bruises in Time.
From trying to find the perfect outfit, So he would think I looked good. From trying to plan the perfect scenarios, so I could be in his presence. From trying to find the perfect thing to say, when that planning followed through.
Yet, the moments I was trying to create don’t come from such planning. So if there’s one lesson I’ve learne
